This gathering provides an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the other members of your group before we all proceed to enjoy a delightful dinner. Day: 02 Full day Guided Tour in Kathmandu valley with City Tour Guide
Today, you will have the opportunity to explore Kathmandu with our experienced city tour guide. Our itinerary includes several remarkable sites:
- SWOYAMBHUNATH, also known as the Monkey Temple, is perched atop a hill and can be reached by climbing a long set of steps. From there, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Kathmandu.
- BOUDHANATH STUPA is adorned with traditional Gompas adorned with vibrant prayer flags. It serves as a focal point for Sherpas and Tibetans who partake in the spiritual practice of circumambulating the stupa (koras).
- PASHUPATINATH, a sacred Hindu temple, is situated on the banks of the Bagmati River and features ghats where cremation ceremonies take place, offering a unique glimpse into Hindu rituals.

Your journey begins with an early morning departure from Kathmandu, traveling west by private vehicle along the scenic Prithvi Highway, where terraced hillsides, river valleys, and traditional Nepali villages unfold en route to Pokhara, reached in approximately 6–7 hours including brief rest stops; from Pokhara, the drive continues for about 1.5 hours through lush countryside to Nayapul, followed by a short descent to Birethanti (1,030 m), a picturesque riverside village at the confluence of the Modi and Bhurungdi rivers and the official entry point to the Annapurna Conservation Area; departing around 6:00 AM helps you avoid congestion at the Nagdhunga–Naubise section and enjoy smoother roads past Malekhu and Mugling before joining the upgraded four-lane stretch toward Pokhara, with towns like Dumre ideal for tea breaks, while bypassing central Pokhara via the Baglung Highway at Prithvi Chowk rewards you with sweeping switchbacks and your first Himalayan views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South; the day concludes at Birethanti, where you’ll present your ACAP and TIMS permits at the checkpoint, explore local village life, and settle in for the evening as your Annapurna trek officially begins.

Day: 04 Birethanti to Ulleri (2,080m)
After breakfast, we begin our trek from Birethanti, a lively village at the confluence of the Modi Khola and Bhurungdi Khola rivers, following the riverbank through small settlements and terraced farmland toward Tikhedhunga, crossing suspension bridges and enjoying views of lush green hills, waterfalls, and local village life along the way. After a short break, the trail becomes more demanding as we ascend the famous stone staircase to Ulleri, a steady climb of over 3,000 steps winding through forests and traditional Magar villages, rewarded by refreshing mountain air and occasional views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli on clear days. By late afternoon, we arrive at Ulleri, a charming village known for its stone houses and warm hospitality, where we relax, take in the surrounding mountain scenery, and settle into our teahouse for the night, marking a fulfilling first day of trekking.

Day: 05 Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,865m)
After breakfast, we begin our trek from Ulleri, following a well-maintained stone staircase that gently ascends through lush rhododendron and oak forests, passing through charming Magar villages with traditional houses and terraced fields that offer a glimpse into local mountain life. As we climb higher, the air becomes cooler and the forest denser, especially vibrant during spring when rhododendrons are in full bloom. Along the way, we take occasional breaks to admire views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli peeking through the trees, while the soothing sounds of nearby streams accompany our journey. After a gradual yet rewarding climb, we reach Nangethanti for a short rest before continuing onward to the beautiful hilltop village of Ghorepani (2,865 m), a popular stop renowned for its panoramic mountain vistas. Upon arrival, we check into our teahouse, unwind, and take time to explore the village, enjoying its peaceful atmosphere and preparing for the early-morning hike to Poon Hill the next day.

Day: 06 Hike to Poonhill (3,210m). Trek to Tadapani (2,630m)
In the early morning, we rise before dawn and hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, a breathtaking panorama of snow-capped peaks bathed in golden light. After spending some time soaking in the views and capturing photographs, we descend back to Ghorepani for a hearty breakfast before continuing our trek. The trail from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2,630 m) winds through dense rhododendron and oak forests, offering occasional glimpses of distant mountains and local villages along the way. The path is a mix of gentle ascents and descents, passing small streams and traditional teahouses, making the journey both scenic and peaceful through Deurali and Banthanti. Upon arrival in Tadapani, we settle into our teahouse, relax, and enjoy the serene mountain atmosphere, surrounded by lush forests and panoramic views of the Annapurna range.

Day: 07 Tadapani to Sinuwa (2,340m)
After breakfast in Tadapani, we set out on a scenic trek through lush forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo, gradually descending along a well-marked trail toward the charming village of Chhomrong. This village, nestled in a natural amphitheater, offers spectacular views of Annapurna South, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Hiunchuli, along with a glimpse into the daily life of the Gurung community. From Chhomrong, the trail continues downhill through terraced fields and dense forests, following a series of stone steps and mountain paths that wind toward the Chhomorong Khola River. Crossing the river via a suspension bridge, we begin a gentle ascent to reach the peaceful village of Sinuwa, surrounded by towering cliffs and serene forest landscapes. Upon arrival, we check into our teahouse, relax, and enjoy the calm mountain setting, preparing for the next day’s trek deeper into the Annapurna region.

Day: 08 Sinuwa to Deurali (3,195m)
After breakfast in Sinuwa, we continue our trek along the well-trodden trail, passing through dense bamboo forests that create a serene and shaded pathway. The trail gradually ascends as we move toward the small settlement of Bamboo, a peaceful spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding forested slopes. From here, we trek further uphill to Dovan, where the trail opens up to reveal breathtaking views of towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls. Continuing our journey, we pass the Himalaya Hotel area, a popular stop for trekkers with panoramic vistas of the Annapurna and Machapuchare ranges, before reaching Deurali. Nestled amid high ridges and surrounded by rhododendron forests, Deurali offers a tranquil place to rest, with the crisp mountain air and dramatic landscapes setting the stage for the trek to the high Himalayas ahead.

Day: 09 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)
After breakfast in Deurali, we begin our trek through rugged trails, gradually ascending into higher alpine terrain surrounded by dramatic cliffs and glacial moraines. The path takes us toward Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where sweeping views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South dominate the skyline, and the icy peaks glisten under the morning sun. From MBC, we continue along the rocky, high-altitude trail, passing small streams and moraine fields, with the air growing crisp and the scenery increasingly spectacular. The final stretch leads us to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), nestled in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary at 4,130 meters, surrounded by a dramatic amphitheater of snow-capped peaks. Upon arrival, we take time to soak in the breathtaking 360-degree views, capturing the grandeur of Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and other towering peaks, before settling into our teahouse to rest and enjoy the serene high-mountain atmosphere.

Day: 10 Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,325m)
After an early breakfast at Annapurna Base Camp, we rise to witness the breathtaking sunrise casting golden hues across the Himalayas. Immersed in the awe-inspiring beauty, we reluctantly leave ABC and begin our descent, retracing the high-altitude trail toward Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) and enjoying lingering views of the snow-capped peaks and the sanctuary’s dramatic amphitheater. From MBC, the trail continues downhill to Deurali, passing rocky ridges and small streams, with the forest gradually thickening as we descend to lower altitudes. The path then winds past the Himalaya Hotel area through rhododendron and bamboo forests, offering occasional glimpses of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre, before reaching Dovan, a serene spot surrounded by cliffs and dense woodland. Along the way, we are treated to the mesmerizing sight of waterfalls cascading gracefully down towering granite cliffs, creating a peaceful ambiance within the lush forest. Finally, we arrive at Bamboo, where we settle into our teahouse, relax, and reflect on the incredible alpine landscapes, majestic peaks, and unforgettable mountain vistas we experienced during the day.

Day: 11 Bamboo to Jhinu Dada (1,780m)
After breakfast in Bamboo, we begin our trek, descending through lush rhododendron and bamboo forests toward the charming village of Sinuwa. The trail follows the Modi Khola River, crossing small streams and offering occasional views of surrounding cliffs and waterfalls. From Sinuwa, we continue toward Chhomrong, a picturesque Gurung village nestled at the base of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre, where terraced fields and traditional homes provide a glimpse of local mountain life. From Lower Chhomrong, we begin a challenging ascent up a series of stony steps, leading to Upper Chhomrong. Departing from Chhomrong, we take a route that diverges from the usual path to Ghandruk, descending instead toward Jhinu Danda. Upon arrival, trekkers can enjoy a wonderful experience soaking in the natural hot springs, located just a short 15-minute walk to the bank of Modi Khola from the village, and relax while reflecting on the day’s journey through some of the most scenic landscapes of the Annapurna region.

From Landruk, we continue through Tolka, a quiet settlement surrounded by forests and fields, before reaching Deurali, where the trail winds along forested slopes and rocky paths. The final stretch descends gently to the charming village of Pothana, a serene spot with panoramic views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. Upon arrival, we settle into our teahouse, relax, and enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere, reflecting on the day’s trek through some of the most picturesque villages and landscapes of the Annapurna region.

From there, we start our final trek, descending through terraced fields, pine forests, and charming villages to Dhampus, a traditional Gurung settlement known for its cultural heritage and breathtaking mountain views. The trail descends through lush forests and winding paths, providing occasional glimpses of distant peaks and the Pokhara Valley below, before arriving at Phedi, the trailhead that marks the end of the trek. A vehicle will be waiting for us at Phedi to take us to Pokhara, where the journey will end, allowing trekkers to relax in the lakeside city, reflect on their adventure, and celebrate the completion of the Annapurna Sanctuary trek.

The journey takes us past terraced hills, charming riverside villages, and dense forests, offering glimpses of rural life and the majestic Trishuli River flowing alongside the highway. En route, we may stop for short breaks to stretch, enjoy refreshments, or capture photographs of the picturesque countryside and distant mountain views. The drive continues through hilly terrain and lush valleys, gradually ascending toward the Kathmandu Valley. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, we check into our hotel, marking the end of our journey from Pokhara and providing an opportunity to relax and reflect on the incredible Annapurna Sanctuary trek and the scenic landscapes experienced along the way.

Today, we have a free day to explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu on our own. You could also visit some of the popular tourist attractions in the city, such as Bhaktapur or Patan, which showcase Nepal's rich cultural and historical heritage. Alternatively, you could engage in other activities like hiking, biking, or adventure sports, or simply relax and rejuvenate in one of the city's many spas and wellness centers. Whatever you choose to do, make sure to soak up the unique sights, sounds, and flavors of this wonderful city.

Today, we will transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for our departure. After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will gather our belongings and make our way to the airport. Before we bid adieu to this enchanting country, take one last look at the breathtaking views of the Himalayas and take a moment to appreciate the warm hospitality and kindness of the Nepalese people.
