The Nepali government has implemented royalty fees for mountain climbing permits within Nepal. As the cornerstone of Nepal's tourism sector, mountaineering plays a vital role. To render mountaineering royalty fees more competitive with neighboring nations, highlight mountains situated in remote and underprivileged regions, and foster an environment conducive to transforming the seasonal mountaineering industry into a year-round operation, thereby actualizing the vision of 'Nepal for all Seasons,' the Nepali government has reached the following conclusions. The restructuring of royalty fees is intended to boost climbing tourism to rival neighboring countries, encourage expeditions in remote areas, and promote mountaineering and climbing activities throughout the year.
